It's Coming

OML! (OML means Oh My Lanta) It's coming...
an new post on Tupelo Honey and I usually don't care except this time it's about me. I had no idea why mom looked at me kinda weirdly. I can't tell you much because I know that mom wouldn't want me to tell so just saying be ready.

How DID you get that snow on your hair? Did you get pushed down and Brian gave you a snow shampoo? By the way, it was so good of you to help your mother cut up tomatoes. That was great!

Annie 101, guess what. Your Aunt has been saying "OH MY LANTA!" for years! I can't believe you never heard her say it. That expression has been around for a very long time. Mylanta is a medicine, it is a liquid that comes in a bottle and is used for stomach upsets. People took the expression, "OH MY LAND!" which is ancient, and changed it to OH, MYLANTA! Cute, huh? BTW, I LOVE YOU!
